Launching Izzy Skybar
Izzy Skybar launched with banger
Van der Valk stands for hospitality that feels personal at every scale. This social content series was built to reflect that on the platforms where guests spend their attention. Short form storytelling captures craftsmanship, service and the quiet detail behind every stay, giving the brand a consistent voice across social without losing the warmth that defines it.

Challenge
Hospitality brands often struggle to make social content feel as considered as the experience they offer. Van der Valk wanted a series that could reflect the quality of the brand while still being native to short form platforms. The challenge was to translate a physical experience into video that feels the same on the screen.
Approach
We built the series around small, cinematic moments — a plate, a doorway, a smile at check in — rather than product shots. Careful framing, natural light and considered sound recording give every edit a premium feel, while short runtimes and vertical formats keep the series native to social. A shared visual system holds it together across locations.
Execution
Production ran across multiple properties, combining planned scenes with observational moments. Cinematic lenses, natural sound and considered edit templates give the series consistency without ever feeling repetitive. Multiple formats and orientations were finished from each shoot to keep the social calendar well fed.
Results
- A social content series that reflects Van der Valk's hospitality on the platforms where guests scroll.
- A visual system that scales across properties, seasons and campaign moments.
- A library of short form edits designed to strengthen brand affinity over time.
